Hamilton Lee Designs Policies
Delivery
Upon request of delivery Hamilton Lee Designs LLC. will deliver to address only. Any action whereby a member of business willfully helps move item into dwelling is acting on good faith and is not liable for any damages. Any discrepancy of product shall be addressed at point of delivery. Hamilton Lee Designs relinquishes reasonability thereafter.
Shipping
Shipping varies per item, in the event of damages and or preauthorized returns. Buyer assumes responsibility for all shipping charges. Freight shipping will be setup by buyer, unless arranged ahead of time.
Installation
Hamilton Lee Designs LLC. is not to be held liable for damages on agreed installation. All items for installation / assembly will be done upon scheduled delivery. Delays & construction of client’s location, unrelated to Hamilton Lee Designs will be charged for rescheduling. Home owner will not be refunded if he/she has not specified building material that may inherently affect the installed product functionality.
Design Accuracy
Hamilton Lee Designs LLC. reserves the right for measurement accuracy +/- 5cm of specified invoiced dimensions & to alter product design to improve structural stability or for any unforeseen issues. Great consideration has gone into our table designs to reduce the effects of warping, real wood products are hygroscopic in nature; they will readily absorb and expel moisture from the atmosphere. Ambient changes in temperature and humidity can cause expansion or contraction in wood products. These dimensional changes may result in cracking, splintering, and or warping; all of which are considered an intrinsic risk of wood products and are not claimable defects. Hamilton Lee Designs LLC. requires all clients to maintain a constant average 55% interior humidity level to avoid deformation of products. Hamilton Lee Designs LLC. is not liable for any deformations while in the client’s possession.
Agreed Returns
Upon agreement of returned items a 15% to 20% restocking fee will be applied. Client is responsible for delivery in original condition.
Staining
Hamilton Lee Designs LLC. is not liable for shade and or color variances. Additionally, “acid washing” is not specified to any shading or color and can vary dramatically from wood species. Color deviation of any form is not a claimable defect. All custom stains shall provide stain number in advance to ordering.
Table Spotting
Once item is in client possession. Hamilton Lee Designs LLC. is not liable for any spotting or staining that may occur as a side-affect from UV staining, sun fade, chemical cleaning, or any other adverse external factors. All tables sold without lifetime warranty certificate are sold as is & all sales are final.
Late Payment
All projects with Hamilton Lee Designs require a 50% non-refundable deposit. Final payment is due completion and readiness for delivery of item/s. Any invoice outstanding 30 days will be subject to a 1.5% late fee of total invoice, per week. Until payment is fulfilled.
Warranty
5-year warranty on workmanship, exclusions above apply.
